Colleen (Keller) Chiacchere has been working with Magis since 2009. Her professional background is in teaching primary grades at St. Francis of Rome Catholic School in Cicero, IL as well as at Red Cloud Indian School on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. A native of the New York City area, Colleen holds a BA in Sociology and Religious Studies from Fordham University (Bronx, NY), an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago and an M.S. in Educational Leadership with a focus in Elementary School Administration from Creighton University.

In her position with Magis, Colleen’s passions for education, volunteering and Ignatian Spirituality unite, and enable her to be well-equipped to support new teachers. She has firsthand knowledge of what Magis teachers experience, having completed a similar UCCE program, LU-CHOICE at Loyola University Chicago.

Deanna Mathews, Student Intern

Deanna Mathews was born in Chicago, Illinois and is currently completing her undergraduate degree in philosophy at Creighton University. She has been working with the Magis program since the summer of 2017.
